First Year Soccer Last Wednesday the first year soccer team played their opening challenge of the New Year when they competed against Killenaule in the school field. Killenaule were reputed to have an excellent team this year and Cashel knew they were in for a tough game. So it proved with Killenaule scoring twice in the opening 20 minutes to take a 2-0 lead by half time. In the second half Cashel began to get a grip on the game and a fine goal by Devon Ryan brought them back into the game with half an hour to play. This was to be the final score of the game and Killenaule won 2-1.
