‘This is the best day of my life’ says Miss Tipp

A Clonmel girl has been selected to represent Tipperary in the Miss Ireland contest in June.

Aoife Walsh was crowned Miss Tipperary in Dundrum House Hotel last Wednesday evening at a glamorous event. Her proud parents Liam and Philomena were there to witness the occasion.“This is the best day of my life, I am just so excited,” said the 2013 Miss Tipperary who is from Giantsgrave outside Clonmel.

Described as the ‘stand out’ entry from the very beginning, Aoife is now preparing to represent Tipperary at the Miss Ireland contest in June.

“I just can’t wait to start the journey and have so much fun with it all,” said a delighted Aoife.

One of the judges, Kelly McGrath, said Aoife was full of life and personality and was “an absolutely fabulous” person who had made a big impression from the very start. Aileen Crowe O’Connell from Bansha was named first runner up and Charlene Hurley from Newport was named as second runner up. See Page 3.
