Clonmel’s ‘Football for All’ needs more help

Football For All will celebrate its first anniversary on Saturday when they will host up to 200 players from all over Munster for a tournament.

Football For All at Clonmel Town began a year ago and has been a massive success, with volunteer coaches passing on the skills of the game to children with special needs. The tournament taks place at the Cashel Road Complex from 2 to 5pm on Saturday.

“The support of the club and local community have been tremendous since the beginning and we need this spirit to continue over the coming seasons in order to provide more specialised equipment. Coaches, players, parents or students please contact me, as your help would be greatly appreciated and ensure that every child enjoys the day fully,” said one of the organisers, Chris Boyle (086-1665883).
