A Cashel university graduate hopes to represent the area on the new all-County Council.

Colm Taylor has been added to the Fine Gael ticket in the Cashel-Tipperary area for the May local elections.

From Lisloran, Colm is the son of Gerard and Kathleen. At 23 he is one the youngest local election candidates in Ireland.

Colm is a past pupil of CCS. He graduated from UL last year with a degree in history, politics and public admin and is now studying agriculture in Kildalton college intending to farm full time at Lisloran. “Having a young person interested in getting involved in politics will show people that everyone can contribute to reforming our country in some way,” he said.
