‘Crazy’ to stand down ambulance

Cllr Martin Browne has called the decision to stand down the second ambulance in Cashel for a week over the Christmas period ‘crazy and dangerous.’

He is demanding that the HSE and the National Ambulance Service give assurances that this is not a sign of decisions which he feels may have already been made at senior level to further undermine the Cashel area. Cllr Browne argues it is essential that two ambulances are retained in a town that is adjacent to a motorway and is calling on the people of Cashel to contact the HSE and the Ambulance Service to insist that the town retains both vehicles. He intends to call a public meeting soon and to get a campaign underway to secure its retention.
