ESB has called on registered charities, not for profit organisations and community and voluntary groups from around Tipperary to apply for the ESB ‘Energy for Generations’ fund, a new corporate responsibility investment which will see over €2m invested by ESB across a range of community and issues-based initiatives.

There are a number of Tipperary based groups dedicated to addressing issues relating to education, homelessness and suicide prevention who are able to apply for the fund, which will see approximately €1m distributed to the awarded organisations to address issues relating to education, homelessness and suicide prevention. Pat O’Doherty, Chief Executive of ESB said - “As a leading Irish organisation with deep roots in the community dating back to 1927, we are committed to playing a role in addressing some of the key social issues facing communities in Tipperary today. Our aim with the Energy for Generations fund is to maximise the impact of our investment by taking a more strategic approach to effect change”.
