Fethard Christmas Festival in full swing

Christmas officially begins in Fethard this weekend on, Friday December 6, with carols, music and dancing on The Square at 4pm.

We expect Santa to arrive shortly afterwards by horse and carriage and officially turn on the Christmas lights.

Santa and his helpers will then move to the community convent hall where he will meet all the boys and girls. This year there will be no queuing outside in the cold instead there is a special kids Christmas disco in the hall while waiting to meet Santa.

On Saturday morning at 10am there is a Christmas Country Market on the street followed by Tipp FM broadcasting from Main Street.
