Customers were delighted to see Meanys Shoes fantastic new store at 84 Main Street, Carrick-on-Suir re-opened last Thursday after a huge clearance sale and a closure for renovations.
The family run shoe retailer celebrated the opening of its new look store in style last weekend.
There was lots of fun for children with give aways, treats, face painting and the visit of Clarks shoes characters Jack Nano and Daisy.
There were also prizes and lots of give aways for adults including handbags from Clarks and shoes from the Ara, Josef Seibel, Ecco, Lotus, Wrangler and hugely popular Amy Huberman and Tommy Bowe brands.
The store’s new look features a bright fresh colour palette and a wonderful use of modern materials, including a dark wooden floor and colourful leather seating, which set off the brightly lit footwear displays.
The family business that dates back to the 18th Century has always moved with the times and constantly updated its premises.
In this spirit, Meanys Shoes are delighted to be the first to include Ireland’s first interactive iPad for foot measuring in their new Children’s Department.
Customers travel to Carrick from far and wide to have their children properly measured and fitted at Meanys, so the business felt it was important to include the newest technology in this new state-of-the-art computerised foot gauge by Clarks. It’s sure to impress all the children.
The new children’s department is both spacious and colourful and boasts one of the biggest selection of Clarks in the country. The store stocks all top children’s brands such as Converse, Nike, Lelli Kelly and new additions Geox and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada for girls.
First shoes are a special occasion at Meanys with a complimentary photograph to mark the occasion as well as joining the exclusive birthday club up to the child’s 10th birthday.
