Seven injured in Kilsheelan crash

Seven people, including three children, were injured in a two vehicle car crash on the main Clonmel to Carrick-on-Suir road near Kilsheelan on Sunday.

The head-on collision occurred on the Kilsheelan side of the Kilheffernan Roundabout at 6.30pm. An elderly couple were in one car and two adults and three children were in the other vehicle. The seven accident victims were treated for injuries at South Tipperary General Hospital and all except an elderly man have since been discharged. He was transferred to Waterford Regional Hospital and his condition is stable.
