Students from the Abbey CBS are running their very own school bank as part of AIB’s Build a Bank Challenge 2014 and were recently visited by Youth Ambassador for AIB, Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper.
Youth Ambassador for AIB, Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper paid a visit to the school to lend some support and afterwards he checked out the GAA talent and held a coaching session with the students and teachers.
The AIB Build a bank challenge is one of Ireland’s largest transition year competitions with over 200 schools signed up for this year’s programme. Students develop their management, marketing and people skills by implementing creative customer loyalty programmes and fully exploiting technology to create a successful school bank.
