Update at 12 noon

30 boxes have now been counted in the Clonmel - Cahir area.

The big news so far is that sitting councillor Seanie Lonergan looks like he will lose his seat in the national Labour slump. He is currently just polling 4%

There is currently a clear majority of votes going to two candidates: Martin Lonergan on 16.9% - Andy Moloney on 14.2%

BUT - this comes with the health warning that this is mostly Cahir area boxes that have been counted up to now and the vote is obviously lopsided!
