Mother’s Day at the Library

Mother’s Day Tea Party: Story-time will take place at 3pm on Saturday, March 9, with a special tea party to celebrate Mother’s Day!

St Patrick’s Celebration: Friday, March 15, at 3pm - Story of St Patrick, music, craft, face-painting, dancing and sing-a-long.

Easter at the Library

Easter Arts & Crafts Workshops: Suitable for children from Junior Infants to Second Class. Booking is essential and costs €5, proceeds will be given to St John the Baptist Boys & Girls School.

Workshops take place on Saturday, March 9, 3pm to 4.30pm, and Thursday, March 14, 6.30pm to 8pm.

Easter Film Afternoon: Wednesday, March 27, at 2.30pm. Free event!

Easter Egg Hunt: This event is for children from 3rd to 6th class and will run on Thursday, March 28, at 3pm. Places are limited so please book your child on 06263856

Social Tea Dance

Social Tea Dance in Halla na Feile on Friday, March 15, with dancing from 9pm to 12 midnight. Music is by the great Sam O’Doherty. Teas and sandwiches will be served and admission is €8 - a great way to start St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Social Dancing Classes continue to be very enjoyable on Tuesday evenings with dancing from 8.30pm to 10.45pm.

An extra half hour is added on at the end for those who like ‘Ballroom’ and all for €5.

Cashel Toastmasters

Cashel Toastmasters will hold their monthly meeting this Thursday, March 7, at 8pm in Gleeson’s Pub (upstairs). The meeting will be dedicated to the international speech and evaluation competitions.

The second chance numbers were, 6,8, 15, 21 and again there was no winner of the €500 jackpot.

Coffee Morning

Margaret O’Toole is holding a coffee morning in aid of the Irish Cancer Society on Saturday, March 9, in her home on the Dualla Road, from 10am to 1pm. There will also be a cake sale and donations of cakes and buns will be gratefully accepted. Your support will be much appreciated.
