Fethard and South Tipp Macra would like to wish Michael the best of luck at the regional hustings in the Vienna Woods Hotel, Co. Cork, which takes place on this Tuesday, March 19, at 8pm where he will be voicing his proposals and answering any questions related to potential candidacy. Anyone is welcome to come along and support.

The rescheduled Clonoulty Rossmore Macra is holding an Irish themed quiz night on Friday, March 15, in Kennedy’s pub, Gooldscross. Music and raffle on the night with a €5 per person entry.

Genealogy – Tracing Your Ancestors Workshop

A one-day workshop on ‘Tracing Your Ancestors’ will be held at Crocanoir, Mullinahone, on April 13, which might be of interest to those involved in family research. This workshop is aimed at those that have ‘dabbled’ in family history but have never made the time to structure their research. At the end of the workshop, hosted by Hibernia Roots genealogy services, you will have identified the resources that could lead to you producing a family report for a special occasion gift or to present to visiting relatives.
