Mr Crocodile and a very large toothbrush visit Cahir Park Preschool!

The children and parents of Cahir Park Preschool were absolutely delighted when they received a visit from Dr Danielle McGeown, on Thursday, January 24.

Danielle is a general dentist, currently undertaking a postgraduate in Special Care Dentistry. She came with a very special crocodile teddy and a very, very large toothbrush!

She spoke to the children and parents about the importance of looking after their teeth and then the children all got a chance to brush Mr Crocodiles teeth with the very large toothbrush.

Danielle then talked about eating the right foods and drinking plenty of milk and water for healthy teeth. She explained to them what happens when they visit the dentist for the first time.

Danielle runs a clinic for younger patients two Saturdays every month at the Confidental clinic, Castle Street, Cahir.

The children made a lovely thank you card for Danielle and they thoroughly enjoyed her visit .
