Over seven events in Tipperary for National Science Week

More than seven individual events in Tipperary have been registered so far as part of Science Week 2012 ‘Everyday Experimenting’, which takes place nationwide from 11th – 18th November.

Over 600 Events are being held in libraries, schools, colleges, universities and other centres across Ireland.

Science Week 2012 ‘Everyday Experimenting’ aims to demonstrate that you are a part of Science. You are constantly experimenting. From attempting a new level on a game, to trialling a new recipe and even embarking on a first date – these are everyday experiments.

Events in Tipperary will include:

· Carrick on Suir Library in conjunction with COSBA – Carick on Suir Business Association are running demos through out Science Week on how to Design your own School/House in 3D using Google Sketch!

· SEAI Energy Challenge Workshops on “Everyday Experimenting” will be visiting schools in Tipperary as part of Science Week. Students will be taught about the science of energy whilst linking to the theme of the week “everyday experimenting”
