Pat takes Shave or Dye challenge

Today FM launched their shave or dye fundraiser in recent weeks and it’s ‘punks versus monks’ this year.

Cahir amazing fundriaser Pat Cunningham has decided to take the challenge and says he will “go punk this year as a drastic change of look for me!”

“On Wednesday this week I should have most of my hair shaved off and the Mohican bit that’s left will be red I think. I also have Christopher Doyle fitness instructor from Duneske Gym nearly convinced to do the same,” says Pat.

“If I went home years ago, when I was young, to the parents, sporting a red Mohican my dad would have asked if I was on drugs before banishing me from the town! My Mam would have said I was cracked. But I think they would be proud of the money it raises.”

Pat has sponsorship cards, so if you see him out looking all plunked up if you can spare a €1 for his card that would be great.

“Cancer touches us all; no one escapes the scourge of the big C,” Pat says, adding his thanks to everyone who supports him.
