Resource Centre appeals for votes for awards scheme

Tots 2 Teens at the Clonmel Community Resource Centre is a community-based, full-time childcare service in Kickham Street. It has been selected as one of the three shortlisted projects in Clonmel due to benefit from the AIB Better Ireland Programme. This effectively means that depending on the number of public votes, the Resource Centre stands to gain j2,000, j3,000 or the top payout of j5,000 from this innovative programme.

Centre Manager Naomi Burke stated " It is thanks to funding projects such as the AIB Better Ireland Programme that community organisations like ours can provide the equipment necessary for the positive development of the children in our daily care. Each project is as deserving as the next, so we have to encourage past as well as present users and all friends of Clonmel Community Resource Centre to send in as many votes over the remaining days. Our sincere thanks to all those who have voted for us so far".

The final amount awarded is to be spent on outdoor equipment that will benefit children attending the service.

Vote free online each day at www.betterireland.ie – option B Clonmel Community Resource Centre

or by text ( as many times as you wish) to 51303 CLONMEL B (standard text rates apply). The closing date for voting is next Monday, 15th.
