Birthday Wishes

Congratulations to Sr. Philomena, Presentation Convent who celebrated her 100th birthday last week. Congratulations and birthday wishes to John Walsh, Mountain Rd. who celebrates his 97th birthday this Monday. John cycles to our 7.45am Mass each morning and is a reader at Mass. We wish John many more years of health, happiness and involvement. Birthday wishes also to Fr. Bobby Power who celebrates a significant milestone on his life’s journey this weekend.

Graduate

Congratulations to James McGrath, New Toberaheena who qualified in Medicine at Cork University. James is now attached to Cork Regional Hospital, specialising in vascular surgery.

We welcome into the Christian Faith Community of St. Mary’s, Saoirse Ellie Mullins, Ard Aoibhean and Aoife Mai Hennessy, The Chase who were christened last weekend.

Congratulations to parents Kevin & Siobhain, Paul & Laura, Godparents Philip & Grainne, Eoin & Karen, grandparents and extended family.

Good News

John Harris, Kilmeaden was ordained priest for our Diocese last Sunday. We welcome John to our Diocese and wish him many years of fulfilled ministry in our Diocese. John was here in St. Mary’s with us for his Pastoral placement two years ago.
