The Premier Rap

The song written and sung by local singer songwriter John O'Brien continues to get continuous airplay on Tipp FM and several other radio stations.

Last Friday was a big day for Johnnyb and the boogie band when they recorded a piece for RTE which is due to be shown on the national broadcaster this week.

Also news of the The Premier Rap video, which was recorded by local student Tessa Davis, spread like wildfire, and made it big on You Tube when it was listed as the most popular music video being watched on Friday evening. 30,000 hits in four days was some achievement. Congrats to Johnny, Tessa and all of the guys in the video and all who helped to make it such a success. Now we just need to get the Premier Rap on to the RTE show 'Up for the match' on Saturday night, get match tickets for all involved, win the game and get ready for that party with Liam McCarthy.
