Tipp farmers to appear on tv advert
A television advertisement that will soon be on our screens promoting Irish pork products was filmed on a farm in Ballymacarbery.
The farm of John C Byrne played host to a filming crew and other local pork producers as they spent a day filming the promo.
The television ad will be for the Truly Irish pork products brand and will also feature five local farmers: Robert Dowley from Carrick on Suir; Jack and David Ronan from Cashel; PJ and Colm Ryan from the Glen of Aherlow.
The advert hopes to inform people about the company. Parts of it were also filmed at the SuperValu supermarket at the Poppyfield retail park, in Clonmel, where the Truly Irish products are stocked.
The farmers hope to see themselves on their television screens, on RTE and TV3, in the next three weeks.
