Tipperary to raise funds for Childline at Cheerios Breakfast

Last year Co. Tipperary schools, crèches, companies, community groups and individuals raised €5,957 by holding a breakfast in aid of Childline as part of the Cheerios Childine Breakfast Together Week.

In 2012 Cheerios & Childine are once again appealing to supporters in Co. Tipperary to come together, have a breakfast and raise much needed funds for the Childline service.

Currently the Childline service receives no government funding and in 2011 alone received over 839,000 calls. However due to a lack of funding, thousands of these calls went unanswered.

Childline is available to every child under 18 in Tipperary and nationwide on 1800 66 66 66 or www.childine.ie

If you would like to register to hold a breakfast and raise funds to help Childline be here for every child, call 1850-50-40-50 or visit www.childlinebreakfast.ie
