Army Band Return to Tipperary

The Army Band of the Number One Southern Command under the baton of Captain Brian Prendergast is by popular request the principal guests in a fund-raising concert in aid of the on-going refurbishment at the Excel.

Last year, along with local artists, the army band captivated a full house with some truly delightful music and ever since the organiser, Seamus O'Reilly, has been repeatedly asked to bring them back.

The band have a very full schedule but because they were given a tremendous welcome last year, Captain Prendergast has managed to fit Tipperary into their busy schedule.

Many local artists including the C.J. Kickham Band are also performing and a special feature on the night will be the playing of Sliabh na Mban by the combined bands.

Book your ticket now to avoid disappointment: Sunday 3rd October at 8pm. j22. Telephone the Excel booking office: 062 80520 from Tuesday 21st September. Early booking is advisable.
