There are 31 patients on trolleys in South Tipperary General Hospital today (Friday), the highest in the country.
The breakdown on information from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Trolley Watch report show 24 patients on trolleys in the Emergency Department and another seven in wards.
It is not the first time in recent weeks that the Clonmel hospital has headed the unwanted list for numbers waiting on trolleys.
The next highest number to Clonmel outside Dublin this Friday is Portlaoise with 24 on trolleys.
There are 26 on trolleys in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
Other trolley 'black spots' have much lower number today - Galway is at 20, Waterford at 18, Limerick at seven and Drogheda at five.
