Busy time for Ballynonty AC

In the Munster Novice XC Champs at Beaufort, Co. Kerry, David Shelly ran a great race to finish 8th senior and was a member of the Tipp team who won bronze in a very competitive race.

In the Munster Novice XC Champs at Beaufort, Co. Kerry, David Shelly ran a great race to finish 8th senior and was a member of the Tipp team who won bronze in a very competitive race.

In the County Intermediate XC Champs at Turnpike, Two-Mile-Borris, on a fast but testing course, David Shelly ran a brilliant race to win bronze, followed by 5th Danny Smith, 9th Kenny Curran and 21st Owen Fanning. These 4 packed well to win team bronze in a tightly-contested event. Also running well was 22nd Fergal Loughnane and 28th Pakie Ryan. Well done to all.

In the Dublin City Marathon,Our club had members in this 14,000 strong event. First home was Tom Halpin in a fine 3 hour 1 min 16 secs, followed by the improving Paul Walshe 3hr17.20, Conor Prendergast 3hr20.57, Tommy Hayes 4hr7.58 and Neilie Hall, a regular attendee a this event, in 4 hours30.09. Well done to all
