Round 4 of the Tipperary County trials took place on October 19 in Cahir House Hotel where another large group of players attended.
The mens competition produced a new winner when Willie McGarry defeated Beanie Hanrahan in the final. The ladies final was contested by Sandra O’Connor and Karen Moloney and Sandra won this 2 nil.
Saturday 20 saw another large crowd return to the same venue for the County fundraiser and the final was contested by two of Amby’s players, where John Hennessey defeated Roy Cashin in the final.
Action then moved on to the weekend of October 26 in Cahir House Hotel again for round 4 of the trials, where a big crowd attended. After a great night of darts Gerry O’Hara once again came out on top in the mens final and Karen Moloney took the honours in the ladies final.
Next weekend sees the Abbey Court Nenagh host the next round of the I.D.C Championships and we hope to see a large attendence ot Tipperary players.
