Game Council AGM recorded a busy and productive year

The Game Council’s annual general meeting was held recently in the Shamrock Lounge, Castle Street, Cahir.

The Game Council’s annual general meeting was held recently in the Shamrock Lounge, Castle Street, Cahir.

In what was a busy year, officers reported on a range of events including a charity fundraiser, vermin control competition, youth proficiency course and a guest talk by the Director of IFA Countryside Mr Adrian King.

The officers reported on the very productive and cordial working relationships it has with IFA Countryside, Irish Association of Game Hunting and Conservation, Countryside Alliance and The Irish Red Grouse Association.

SPECIAL WORD OF THANKS

A special word of thanks was paid to Margaret and Hughie for their warm welcome throughout the year. The meeting concluded with a silent prayer for those members who passed away during the year.
