Junior C plate final

On Sunday 4th November in Cahir GAA grounds Tipperary Ladies County Board played the last of their adult county finals for 2012 when Cappawhite B played Sliabh na mBan in the Junior C Plate final. Cappa got the better of a much younger Sliabh na mBan side on a score line of 2-9 to 0-4 to add to the senior title won in August.

Our thanks to Pat Lynch for refereeing and to Martin Halpin and Cahir field committee for use of venue. County Board chairman Tommy Campbell was on hand to present trophy to winning captain.

All-Ireland Intermediate semi-final

Cahir Ladies Gaelic Football club are congratulated by all involved in ladies football in Tipperary on wining the Munster Intermediate final when they beat Eire OG of Cork on a score line of 2-9 to 2-8 in Mallow on Sunday 4th November. This was a wonderful achievement for this very young Cahir team and hopefully the journey to All-Ireland success will continue. Over the past few years Brian Borus , Cappawhite , Moyle Rovers ,Aherlow and now Cahir have won Munster club titles which have all been a huge benefit to the development of our game in the county.

Next up for Cahir is the long trip to Fermanagh to play the Ulster champions Newtownbutler on Sunday next November 18th In Newtownbutler. John O Connor (team manager) and his fellow selectors are wished the very best of luck.
