Clonmel tennis player Des Dillion had a winning return to competition, winning the Vets over 50 singles at St Annes in Waterford.
The Hillview player also teamed up with William Guiry to win the doubles event.
Des took a year off tennis working with his Theatre Production of Mag Mell.
Hillview had a good representation at St Annes, Michael Prendergast had a good weekend with a winner and runners up spot in the over 55 mens and mixed doubles.
Michael Murray also did well in the over 60s winning singles and mixed doubles with Ballypatrick’s Rose Houlihan.
The younger vetearns over 40s Declan Tarrant and Eugene O’Mahoney were runners up in their event.
