It’s a big night for Cashel Boxing Club on two fronts. One of Ireland’s Olympic heroes will visit the boxing club and the eagerly awaited fashion show will take place where Olympic hero Adam Nolan will be the guest of honour.

Cashel Boxing Club is honoured to welcome Irish Olympian Adam Nolan when he visits the club in Cashel to offer insights and some tips to the local boxers about what it takes to make it to the top in their chosen sport.

Nolan is a member of An Garda Síochána and is a two-time Irish Welterweight Champion having won the titles in 2011 and 2012 and represented Ireland in the London 2012 Olympics.

Adam, originally from Wexford, is currently a member of Bray Boxing Club where he is training alongside Katie Taylor and is coached by her dad, Pete Taylor.

He fought valiantly for Ireland in the Olympics and was a key member of the successful boxing team.

Later on that evening, the countdown will finally be over as the Fashion Show fundraiser for the club will take place in Halla Na Feile, Cashel with a great night guaranteed.

A lot of preparation has gone into organising the fashion show for the boxing club which is run by dedicated volunteers. Local models will display the fine styles from eight different shops from around the county, namely: Paco, Only, Uptown Girl, Dunnes, Brehon Sports, Fashion4you.ie, Golden Threads and Tesco.

There will also be stalls selling and displaying health products, beauty products, jewellery, Christmas cakes and many more items.

A raffle with many superb prises will also take place on the night.

The Olympic southpaw Adam Nolan may even put in an appearance on the catwalk!

Tickets for the fashion show costs E15 (students E10) and can be bought from committee members from the club or on the door on the night.

Doors open at 7pm with a cheese and wine reception and the fashion show kicks off at 8pm.

It’s an event not to be missed so come along to Halla Na Feile on Friday night.
