The Dublin Half Marathon took place in Dublin last Saturday as part of the Dublin Marathon series. Held over a new course, somewhat easier than last year’s route, the race attracted over 6800 participants. Brian Long ran well when finishing 81st in 8i:14 with Angela McCann 2nd over 40 in 81:25. We also had good performances from Eoin McGrath 82:55, Frank Lynch 97:38, Gareth Coleman 98:27, David Johnson 99:09, Ivan Barlow 100:09, Fiona Bourke 101:02 and Brendan Coffey 102:10. Many of these athletes have their sights set on competing in the Dublin Marathon at the end of October and it is great to see that their training is going well for it.
