It is proposed to make team draws at an earlier date.
Chairman, Seamus Hogan, is not going forward for re-election and areas are asked to please give serious consideration to nominating his successor. The closing date for all reports, nominations and motions to be with the county secretary, Kathleen England, Mount Butler, Roscrea or - firstname.lastname@example.org is Wednesday, October 3. This date must be adhered to as there is a tremendous amount of work involved compiling the information, printing the AGM booklet and getting it to the areas for delegates to study prior to the meeting. Please respond to this request sooner rather than later.
Ten years ago most of the officers on the county board came from areas in South Tipperary. In recent years this situation reverted to the majority of the board members representing areas in North Tipperary. It would be good to put the South back on the map again this year so do your part and include some new faces in the nomination list.
Any area who has tracksuits to be returned are advised to bring them to the AGM on Wednesday October 17.
The closing date for the media award enteries is Friday, December 7 . Areas are asked to please submit details of all their plans for the winter games and all results to their local correspondent. The 2013 National AGM will be hosted by Leinster and will be held in the Court Hotel, Tullamore.
