Come walking after Christmas

Christmas is a time when we all get a little stuffed and there is nothing better than a good bracing walk. So why not come along and Join Mid Tipp Hill Walkers on Sunday, December 30, when two walks leave from opposite the fire station in Cashel at 11am.

Eoin Wolahan will lead the high level walk and Ray Creaney will be on hand to lead the moderate level walkers. If you are new to this kind of activity, just bring a pair of boots, rain gear, and a packed lunch. A change of clothes and footwear for after the walk is also advisable. For details check out our website at www.midtipphillwalkers.ie or call Dan Condren at 087 2273082.

Last Sunday, Bernie O’Dwyer and Martina Kerrane led the high level walkers on a circuit of the Knockmealdowns while Ollie brought a group of moderate level walkers on a circuit from King’ yard in the Southern Galtees. It was a lovely day out with great views for the most part and just a few showers.

Mid Tipp Hill Walkers wishes all who have participated in its activities during the year a very happy Christmas, and good walking, climbing and mountaineering in 2013.
