Tipperary Town Ladies Hockey Club have been very busy the last few weeks training and playing matches every weekend.

Division two have been very unlucky with a number of drawn games but on Saturday, in the Canon Hayes sports complex, this changed.

The girls played Church of Ireland from Cork and won 2-0. This was a great win as Church of Ireland are a very strong opposition who are currently top of the Munster league table. Two great goals were scored by Emily Hayden and Clare Ryan. The girls showed great team effort and it all paid off after 70 minutes. Well done girls.

Division 6 are currently middle of the table. They have played 8 matches to date, 3 wins, 4 losses and one drawn game. They bring great enthuasiam to training each week and are very dedicated to hockey. Keep up the great work.

Training continues over the festive period. Keep an eye on our facebook page for up coming events and times and dates for training.
