Due to unforeseen circumstances distribution of the Programme for Team Draws and Contact List for same has been delayed but we expect to have a copy out to all areas by this weekend. The complete draw for the summer games may be viewed on the website www.tipperarycommunitygames.com. However the county board are very anxious that all first round games in Under 10 football, Under 11 Hurling and U14 Camogie be played by April 30 and all second rounds be completed by May 11. North and South finals to be over by May 21 and the County Finals of all GAA Events will take place in Semple Stadium, Thurles on bank holiday Monday, June 4.

Cork have withdrawn from the boys under 13 Handball competition so the boys from Cloughjordan who were runners up in the Munster Final will represent Tipperary at the HSE Community Games National Finals in May.
The annual HSE Community Games Media Awards will take place this coming Saturday evening in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone where ‘The Nationalist’ will be among those honoured for the publicity afforded to the games during 2011.
The Nationalist has been in the top section of the provincial papers who have received awards for the past 20 years. The first award won by the paper was in 1992 when it won second place for the most improved entry.
