Former Tipp hurler pedal-cycles for charity

This weekend former Tipperary All-Ireland hurler and All-Star, Michael Cleary, together with Robert Quinlan, will pedal two BERG pedal go-karts on an 80km trip through Tipperary to raise funds for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin.

This weekend former Tipperary All-Ireland hurler and All-Star, Michael Cleary, together with Robert Quinlan, will pedal two BERG pedal go-karts on an 80km trip through Tipperary to raise funds for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin.

The journey starts from Gladstone St., Clonmel on Friday and proceed via Cahir and Cashel to Thurles, arriving at around 4pm. On Saturday the journey will recommence in Roscrea at 10.30am and go via Toomevara and President Barak Obama’s ancestral home village of Moneygall, arriving in Pearse St., Nenagh at about 2pm.

All Ireland winning Tipp captain Eoin Kelly saw the cycle off in Clonmel.
