As this week is our annual Kerry Challenge, there will be no walk from Cashel this Sunday (April 14). The next walks from Cashel will be on Sunday, March 21, when the usual moderate and high level walks will depart from opposite the fire station at 11am. Well over a hundred have booked in this week’s Kerry challenge which will provide a range of walks at all levels on Saturday and Sunday. Proceeds from the event this year will be divided between the visually impaired and the provision of an indoor climbing wall in Upperchurch. As well as being a tourist attraction, this will also provide a much needed training facility for aspiring climbers in Co. Tipperary.
