We had two competitors in the Women under 23 Championship race with Jacqueline Hughes of Thurles Crokes winning the Gold medal with her Club mate Sinead O Meara winning the Silver medal. Jacqueline was completing a 3 in a row Championship win in this category. We had no under 23 Men’s competition which is a sad reflection on the Sport in that age group in the County.
