Moore had a fine run to be 15th and 2nd county scorer and James Ryan was 46th and 7th county finisher. The team finished 4th.

The Tom Walsh 10K was hosted on the same day and Ruaidhri Devitt was first finisher for the club in 8th position with a time of 37:28. Dymphna Ryan was second lady with an impressive time of 37:38 and Ben English won the over 50 category with a time of 38:30. Stephen Ryan completed the course in a time

of 42:30. Kevin Moore ran a 1500m race in the Canaries this week finishing

with an impressive time of 4:10.

Juvenile Results- The County indoor championships for Juveniles from U/13 up were held last Saturday in Nenagh. We had eight athletes in action and won nine medals six silver and three bronze. In the U/15 age group Jean Kelly won silver in the 800m and bronze in the 60m hurdles. Eibhlis McDonald won silver in the 60m hurdles and a bronze in the 60m sprint.

Thomas Furlong won silver in the boys 60m sprint and Tommy Moore won a bronze in the 60m hurdles. At U/16 Eimear Loughman won a silver medal in the 800m and in the U/17 age group Stephanie Moore won silver in the long jump. Michael Boland competing in the Junior 1500m won the silver medal in

a time of 4:51. Jerry Hayes had a few fine performances at U/14 but missed out.

On Sunday January 13, the Munster Senior, Junior and Juvenile Cross Country relays were held at Limerick racecourse. We had two juveniles involved in the Inter County relays. Jean Kelly was part of the U/14 Tipp girls team that finished 4th and Jerry Hayes was part of the boys U/14 squad that won the silver medals well done to both for being selected
