Tipp athletes going for gold in Athlone

The second weekend of the HSE Community Games National Finals will take place in Athlone I.T. on this coming weekend from Friday to Sunday. Athletics will take centre stage on an exciting programme where competitors from Carrick On Suir make up a large part of the participants who will represent County Tipperary in these highly competitive events.

Athletics will take centre stage on an exciting programme where competitors from Carrick On Suir make up a large part of the participants who will represent County Tipperary in these highly competitive events.

The Skittles teams from Ballingarry are our only representatives in the team events. These teams both gave a wonderful performance at the Munster Finals in Tralee and the under 14 team are hoping for a treble having won gold medals at the National Finals for the past two years. They are hot favourites to bring further honours to Tipperary again this year.
