Michael and Peter lead the way
We got our main competitive season off the ground over the weekend with the Moloney Foursomes over a reduced course due to Wednesday night’s downpour.
Eight pairs qualified for matchplay with the ever reliable pairing of Michael Fitzpatrick and Peter Crosse leading the way on 54.6.
Scoring was quite hot with the eighth qualifier making the cut on 58.4.

Well done to Arthur Pierse on winning the gross prize in Sunday’s South East Alliance in Dungarvan in very difficult conditions. Playing off a handicap of +1 Arthur negotiated his way around Knocknagranagh in 65 shots.
