Katie represents Munster in tennis

Larkspur’s Katie Morrissey was on the Munster U14 team. The Junior Club congratulate her on her play.

Four members of Larkspur Park Junior Tennis Club travelled to Waterford last week to participate in St Anne’s Open Week - Sophie Bourke, Megan Hayes, Caoimhe Perdue and Alex Marshall. Both Alex and Megan were beaten finalists in the U14 Singles but Megan and Caoimhe won the U14 Girls’ Doubles.

A registration night will take place on Tuesday, August 27, for tennis coaching in September. Nissan Hut from 7.30pm to 9pm.

The Junior Committee extend their deepest sympathies to committee member Michelle O’Meara on the death of her mother Maureen Buckley. Mrs Buckley was a regular visitor to Larkspur and last month watched her three grandchildren, Michael, Sophie and Maria play in the Junior Open Week. Also sincere sympathies from the Junior Club to Lucy Butler on the death of her mother Dina Maher.
