Due to the inclement weather these last few days which disrupted clubhouse activity and entry to the classic, it has been decided to continue with the classic over the next week; 4 person team event.
For further details see posters around the clubhouse.
The presentation of the following which was due to take place on Saturday October 26th will now proceed on November 9th 5pm - Autumn Medal, Fairways Classic and The Open Qualifying Final followed by lotto draw and the presentation of cheque in the sum of €4,600 to last week’s jackpot winner.
The first round of the Winter League will commence on November 4th, the format will be the same as last year, other than one re-entry per round only, see notice board.
Members entering teams should provide the names of all team members and if they so wish a team name.
The ‘Turkey Trot’ 9 hole re-entry competition will also commence on this date until December 22nd
The numbers drawn on Saturday Oct. 26th were: 14, 15, 21, 25, there were no winner of the Jackpot €2,000, 5 people matched 3 numbers and each receives €35. Next Draw Saturday Nov. 9th a 5pm, new Jackpot €2,200, your continued support is much appreciated.

One of the oldest Cups in the Club - the Military Cup - was played for last weekend but there was on offensive, hinging on a coup, from the weather, to prevent the final 18 hole competition of the year being played.
Only 11 players managed to complete the course on Saturday before the onslaught of rain that waterlogged the course and most of the greens. Sunday was better than the weathermen predicted and the course was in remarkably good nick considering the bashing it took previous day .
When the cards were checked it was that Carrick man again, Johnny Quinn (5) who took the honours with a fine score of 40 points. In second place was the Vice Captain, Shay Bannon (25) with 39 points taking the prize from Noel Mahon (19) on the back nine.

The AGM of the Parent Club be held in the Clubhouse on Wednesday 6th November at 8p.m. All full members are invited to attend. The financial statement will be available in the office 7 days prior to the meeting.
The Annual Mass for Families and Friends of Deceased Members of the Club will be held in the Clubhouse, Knocknagranagh at 7.30 pm on November 6th 2013. Celebrant Rev. Fr. Richard O’Doherty.
