Rock Rebels raise E4,500 on charity bike run

Rock Rebels Motor Bike Club held their eighth annual charity bike run on May 6 last in aid of the Alzheimer’s Home Care Group.

Rock Rebels Motor Bike Club held their eighth annual charity bike run on May 6 last in aid of the Alzheimer’s Home Care Group.

The proceeds from the event which amounted to €E4,500 was presented to Catherine Bartels, representing the beneficiary in the Brian Boru, Main Street on Wednesday night last. A donation of €E500 was also made to the Cashel Irish Red Cross branch, which was represented by Martin Lonergan and three other members in recognition of all the valuable help they provide to the club each year on their runs.

The club would also like to thank all the businesses who donated spot prizes and sponsorship from Cashel and Tipperary town.

“We would also like to thank the people of Cashel and surrounding areas for the support that they have given to us all through the years on our previous runs and for all the charity’s that we have collected for. A special thanks to the people who donated the food to the Brian Boru on the morning of the run and also to the Brian Boru itself for all the help and support that evening. A special thanks to all the members of the Rock Rebels MCC for the great turn out and help in making the run a great success once more.”
