Since its foundation in Febuary 2011, Rugby For Life has completed the five session clinic in 25 National Schools in the Tipperary region, as well as Walterstown N.S., Cobh, and Scoil Bhride Portlaoise.
The clinic is based on using the Rugby model to identify skills which can be related back into the classroom experience of each individual student. Studies have identified this approach as been successful in enabling some student to achieve improvements in their studies by relating certain aspects of sport back into their class work and gives them greater focus and confidence. Each child also get to learn rugby in a non-contact and fun program.
