Clonmel Rugby Club hope to end the season with some silverware when they take on County Tipperary rivals Kilfeacle in the Mansergh Cup final at Cashel on Sunday evening.

It has been an up-and-down season for Clonmel, at one stage facing relegation in the league but rallying to move well up the table.

Hopes were high last week when they made the long journey to Skibbereen for the Munster Junior Cup semi-final but paid the penalty for indiscipline when losing 9-6 to the Co. Cork side.

They will hope for better luck this Sunday but will know that they can expect nothing easy against a Kilfeacle side that has also under-performed this season.

Kick off in Cashel is at 6pm.
