Rockwell College will hope to keep the Avonmore Milk Munster Schools Senior Rugby Cup in Tipperary for a second year in a row when they take on Limerick side St Munchin’s in the final at Thomond Park on Monday.
Gates open at 2pm and the game kicks off at 3pm.
Holders Rockwell are appearing in their fourth final in a row and will be fancied by many to retain the trophy. They were hugely impressive in their semi-final win over CBC from Cork, putting in a superb defensive display that kept the highly rated Cork side scoreless.
Rockwell’s eleven points came from a Steve McMahon try in the first half and two second half penalties from Aidan Moynihan.
The Tipp college will need a similar huge performance to overcome Limerick city giants Munchins but are good enough to do so.
