Rockwell College were knocked out of the Munster Schools Junior Rugby Cup by Limerick side Ard Scoil Ris, losing 18-10.

Rockwell College were knocked out of the Munster Schools Junior Rugby Cup by Limerick side Ard Scoil Ris, losing 18-10.

It was a disappointing exit for the Tipperary school but they met a superior outfit in Ard Scoil, the alma mater of Irish captain Paul O’Connell.

Rockwell Senior team will continue their bid to reach their fourth senior cup final in a row when they will play Christian Brothers College from Cork City in the Avonmore Schools Senior Cup Semi Final this Wednesday, March 7 in Musgrave Park at 3pm.
