Cashel beat Barnhall to stay top of the league

Cashel remain top of the All Ireland Rugby League Division 2B following a thrilling victory over Barnhall at Leixlip on Satuirday.

The Tipperary team came from behind to snatch victory from the third placed home team, winning 25-24. The winning try came from Brendan O’Connor late in the game.

Cashel trailed 16-13 at half time and went 21-13 behind in the second half. But they dug deep to remain in pole position in the league and got back into contention with a Kevin Quinlan try.

Then an all-out efgfort for victory resulted in O’Connor’s winning score.
