Carrick lose to strong Ennis side

Carrick on Suir RFC first XV were over-powered by a very strong Ennis team 23-0 in their Munster Junior league division two clash away last Sunday. Veteran Jim Bourke was brought out of retirement for the clash as we were short of numbers due to injuries.

But many thanks to all those who travelled.

This Sunday we travel to Killarney for the next round of the league.

Also last Sunday the under 17s played Waterford City at home in the development league and even thought they lost 33-22, there was not much between the teams and it was a great game. Carrick played very well for long periods of the game and just a few missed tackles and penalties separating the two sides.
