This U23 college side were visiting Ireland as part of a multi-country European tour and it was a great opportunity for the Clonmel side to line out against this very well regarded US side. Clonmel took the honours 36-28 on the day in what was a display of very good competitive rugby in front of a large and appreciative home crowd. This was the second touring side to visit Clonmel in recent weeks following a team from Albany, New York in August. Clonmel is earning a positive reputation for hosting such teams and we look forward to more of the same in the future.
